What’s there not to love about hip-hop Singer and Rapper Jidenna.
As part of his trip to the motherland Nigeria recently, the Nigerian- American had an exclusive shoot with ThisDay Style magazine shot by the renowned TY Bello in the Yaba area of Lagos.
The self-dubbed dandy and “Classic Man” in the shoot can be seen in various African fashionable looks styled by Celebrity Stylist Yummie Ogbebor.
In the accompanying interview by the magazine’s Digital Editor Konye Chelsea Nwabogor, the singer/rapper is being quoted saying: “I don’t think I could be with any woman who did not know how to cook jollof rice”. That’s just a fab African man there, wouldn’t you agree?
Photographer TY took to Instagram to shed more light about Jidenna and the process of shooting him, she said:
“JIDENNA IN YABA : Yaba recently felt like the Centre of the universe.When @zuck landed he got the memo.. But what’s there not to love… Colorful old lagos buildings .. Fresh Yaba ‘Agege’ bread ..a market market at every turn and that something -something that makes it the perfect backdrop for mad images.. Let’s not forget whitehouse amala.
