If there are two things the good state of Colorado in USA is known for, it’s beer and blunts. For well over a century, Coors has been churning out suds in the foothills of the Rocky Mountains, and since 2012, the Centennial State’s 900 dispensaries have been slinging roughly 121 tons of legal marijuana each year. Well, in 2015 a few geniuses decided to combine Colorado’s two main exports, and now the rest of the country may soon be able to get in on the fun.

According to KGW-TV, Dad and Dude’s Breweria—a company that claims to throw “a delicious wrench in the food and beer culture of Aurora’s and south Denver’s suburbs”—has created its own weed-infused beer, aptly named “General Washington’s Secret Stash.”

Though the “cannabeer,” as it’s commonly known, has been available at the brewery for about a year—drawing tourists from around the word—Dad and Dude’s is hoping that the super-chill draft will be canned in November and made available nationwide by January 2017.
According to Mason Hembree, the self-professed “Dude” behind Dad and Dude’s, drinking the cannabeer won’t get you high (“Not high and drunk. Maybe just drunk,” he told KGW). While the product seemed too good to be true, Secret Stash still had to wait a year to gain approval from the federal government.

Legal hurdles aside, Hembree also has a disapproving co-owner that wasn’t exactly keen on the idea of pot-laced booze in the first place—his “anti-alcohol, anti-pot mom.”

Though the IPA apparently doesn’t contain and THC (the psychoactive chemical in cannabis), it’s said to taste pretty damn good, and even Hembree’s mom, Judy, is starting to come around.

“I honestly don’t think it’s the big, evil thing that I always thought it was,” she said. “I’ve already had two.”
