The All Progressives Congress (APC) party candidate in the gubernatorial election in Edo State, has won the contest in the two-way race with the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP).
The All Progressives Congress (APC) party candidate in the in Edo State gubernatorial election, Godwin Obaseki, has won the contest in the two-way race as he beats the candidate of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), Pastor Ize-Iyamu, winning most of the votes.
Pastor Ize-Iyamu of the PDP came second in the votes collated and announced by INEC.
According to SaharaReporters, the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC), announcing collated results across the state, said APC won 13 of the state’s 18 local government areas.
