Supporters of the Peoples Democratic Party(PDP) are currently protesting outside the office of the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) in Benin, the Edo State capital.
According to a report by TheCable News, some supporters of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) are currently protesting outside the office of the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) in Benin, the Edo State capital.

It was gathered that the aggrieved PDP supporters are accusing the electoral body of bias, as they have demanded a cancellation of the governorship election.

Security personnel reportedly barricaded the INEC headquarters in the state to prevent the protesters from accessing the premises.

INEC has however halted result announcement, as it goes on a one hour break, to resume by 12noon.

Meanwhile a video clip have emerge showing some Edo state citizens blocking Governor Oshiomole at the collation center, chanting of "Oshiomole Ole thief."
