The colour of your urine can indicate one’s health state and point to what goes on inside the body. It’s important to take note of how your urine looks like (note the colour) as well as the sensation when passing it.

The colour of urine can tell if some organs aren’t functioning well, if there’s a deficiency (an indication to improve diet/ load on vitamins) and the general state of being.

For instance if there’s blood in the urine this may point to problems with the kidney, urinary tract, urethra or bladder.

Check out what these colours of urine mean the next time you visit the bathroom:

1. Clear
A clear urine is usually a sign that enough water is consumed/the body is greatly hydrated. The clearer the urine means enough water is consumed! And staying hydrated never harm anyone.

2. Dark Yellow
Dark yellow is a sign indicating the need to increase fluids, it’s the major reason people are advised to take more water when the urine is dark yellow in colour.

3. Brown
Brown coloured urine is an indication that one is dehydrated in simple cases but in some cases, it might be an indication of liver problem where immediate treatment should be sought.

4. Orange
An orange coloured urine is usually an indication of very low water intake when it’s not food colouring and in some cases it might signify a liver condition

5. Red
When the urine is red then there’s a cause for alarm though in some cases it may be due to certain food or colouring taken in, it could also be anything around kidney, bladder or prostrate cancer and should be checked immediately.

Red urine usually signify a mix with blood which is something NEVER to ignore.

People die and they are taken to churches right before burial. Well, Atlanta rapper Shawty Lo died, his corpse was taken to church for wakekeeping and thereafter driven in a convoy to one of his favorite spots on earth, the popular strip club Blue Flame Lounge, one last time.

Video was captured of the hearse carrying Lo’s body posted up on the curb outside the club with a caravan of cars behind it last night. The person snapping the footage captioned the video
“Shawty Lo’s last time at the Blue Flame,”
Lo was a frequent rain-maker at the Blue Flame and the spot is actually the last place people saw the D4L boss alive, as he was killed in a car accident shortly after leaving the club around 2 a.m. on Sept.

China now has suspended railways. First test run of the rails was completed yesterday without a hitch.
The hanging train carriages were filmed in action in the city of Chengdu as they zipped along the elevated monorail at speeds of 60kmph.

According to reports, the tests will continue until engineers have given it the all-clear but as of yet, no
official opening date has been announced.

Instead of electricity, the suspension system is powered by lithium batteries.

Zhai Wanming, chief designer of the project, told People's Daily China, that the new train is more cost-effective and environmentally friendly compared to electric and diesel rail systems.

Each coach on the upside-down monorail will be able to carry up to 120 passengers.

Further tests will be conducted to monitor the train's ability to turn and climb up the tracks before it can be opened to the public. The battery charging stations will also be examined.

Chengdu, which also operates an underground Metro system, is the first city in China to officially unveil a suspension railway but the cosmopolitan city of Shanghai will also be opening one next year.

President Buhari says he believes that the current economic recession will not last. Delivering his Independence day celebration speech, he said

"I know that uppermost in your minds today is the economic crisis. The recession for many individuals and families is real. For some It means not being able to pay school fees, for others it's not being able to afford the high cost of food (rice and millet) or
the high cost of local or international travel, and for many of our young people the recession means joblessness, sometimes after graduating from university or polytechnic. I know how difficult things are, and how rough business is. All my adult life I have always earned a salary and I know what it is like when your salary simply is not enough. In every part of our nation people are making incredible sacrifices. But let me say to all Nigerians today, I ran for office four times to make the point that we can rule this nation with honesty and transparency, that we can stop the stealing of Nigeria's resources so that the resources could be used to provide jobs for our young people, security, infrastructure for commerce, education and healthcare. I ran for office because I know that good government is the only way to ensure prosperity and abundance for all. I remain resolutely committed to this objective. I believe that this recession will not last. Temporary problems should not blind or divert us from the corrective course this government has charted for our nation. We have identified the country’s salient problems and we are working hard at lasting solutions. To re-cap what I have been saying since the inception of this administration, our problems are security, corruption and the economy, especially unemployment and the alarming level of poverty"he said

In a matter relating to gross misconduct, abuse of office and high corruption, the NJC has recommended the punishment of some judges in the country.

The National Judicial Council said on Friday that it had recommended to President Muhammadu Buhari, the compulsory retirement of Justice Mohammed Tsamiya from office – the Ilorin Division of the Court of Appeal.
Justice Tasmiya was sanctioned over allegations that he met with a party to a case before him, Nnamdi Oji, three times and on each occasion, demanded the sum of N200m to influence the Court of Appeal panel in Owerri, which sat on election cases that arose from the 2015 general elections.

In a statement by its Acting Director, Information, Mr. Soji Oye, the NJC said it also recommended the Chief Judge of Enugu State, Justice I. A. Umezulike, for compulsory retirement and Justice Kabiru Auta of Kano State High Court for dismissal.

The NJC recommended Auta for prosecution over an allegation that he collected N197m from a man, Alhaji Kabiru, who wrote a petition to the NJC against him.

The NJC said it recommended to Governor Lawrence Ugwuanyi of Enugu State, the compulsory retirement of the Chief Judge of the state, Justice Umezulike, for delivering judgment in a case 126 days after final addresses were adopted by parties, and for other instances of abuse of office.

Justice Umezulike, during his book launch, allegedly received a donation of N10m from a businessman, Prince Arthur Eze, while two cases in which Eze was said to have had “vested interest”, were in the judge’s court.

It also recommended to Governor Abdullahi Ganduje, of Kano State, the dismissal of Justice Kabiru Auta.

Kabiru was accused of collecting about N197m from a man, Alhaji Kabiru Yakassai, under the pretext that he had plans to use the money to help a then newly appointed Chief Justice of Nigeria to secure accommodation and for Yakassai to be later rewarded with a contract by the CJN.

The NJC recommended that Auta should be handed over to the Assistant Inspector-General of Police, Zone 1, Kano, for prosecution.

Justice Auta was said to have agreed to refund the sum of N95m to Yakassai, who had petitioned the NJC, but only for him to admit during his probe before the NJC panel that he only agreed to refund N35m.

The NJC said it made the recommendations at its 78th meeting, chaired by the Chief Justice of Nigeria, Justice Mahmud Mohammed, and held on September 29, 2016.

In respect of Justice Tsamiya, the statement read in part, “Hon. Justice Mohammed Ladan Tsamiya of the Court of Appeal was recommended for compulsory retirement from Office to President Muhammadu Buhari, GCFR, pursuant to the ‘Findings’ by the Council in the petition written by Nnamdi Iro Oji against him and Hon. Justices Husseini Muktar, F. O. Akinbami and J. Y. Tukur, all Justices of Court of Appeal, who sat on Election Appeal Panel in the Owerri Division of the Court during the 2015 general elections."

The EFCC has now captured under it’s radar, an ex-state military administrator who has been implicated in the shady transactions of former Petroleum Minister, Diezani-Madueke.

A former state military administrator is not telling the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) how he came about the N4billion in  Abuja with which he built a four-star hotel in Abuja that was later sold to former Minister of Petroleum Resources, Mrs. Diezani Alison-Madueke.
The anti-graft agency has already  invited all those connected with the transaction between the ex-MILAD and the embattled ex-Minister.

The Nation gathered authoritatively last night  that the hotel could  be seized by the EFCC.

The  ex-MILAD is also said to have been  implicated in a $318m mono-rail project in Rivers State.

Investigation by our correspondent revealed that EFCC investigators, after  examining  the ex-MILAD’s accounts, are now  seeking  details of the offices held by the retired Brigadier-General, his pay slips, retirement benefits and accruing pensions.

The  investigation of the ex-MILAD may extend to his stakes in some high net worth companies including one of the firms involved in a $318m rail project.

A top source familiar with the probe said: “Apart from establishing the purchase deal, we are looking into the accounts and business activities of the former MILAD, who retired as a Brigadier-General. We want to establish how he came about the N4billion hotel and whether or not he is a business front for some political office holders.

“We are in touch with the army authorities to seek the details of the offices held by the former Brigadier-General, his pay slips and retirement benefits and accruing pensions. We want to trace his records.

“We have just discovered that he was allegedly involved in a $318million rail project in Rivers State. This dimension is expanding the scope of our ongoing investigation of the ex-MILAD.

“At a point, the former MILAD was linked to botched plans to buy Metropolitan Hotel in Calabar. You can see that we have his dossiers.”

Responding to a question, the source added: “So far, we have invited all those connected with the hotel deal between the ex-MILAD and Diezani for interrogation. Some of them include bankers and estate agents.

“One crucial aspect of the investigation of Diezani’s hotel deal is that there were elements of e-transactions when the hotel was bought. We can easily trace all the links.”

The source said after diligent investigation, the EFCC might seize the hotel in line with the Interim Assets Forfeiture Clause in EFCC Act.

Sections 28 and 34 of the EFCC (Establishment Act) 2004 and Section 13(1) of the Federal High Court Act, 2004 empower the anti-graft agency to invoke Interim Assets Forfeiture Clause.

“Section 28 of the EFCC Act reads: ‘Where a person is arrested for an offence under this Act, the Commission shall immediately trace and attach all the assets and properties of the person acquired as a result of such economic or financial crime and shall thereafter cause to be obtained an interim attachment order from the Court.’

Section 13 of the Federal High Court Act reads in part: “The Court may grant an injunction or appoint a receiver by an interlocutory order in all cases in which it appears to the Court to be just or convenient so to do.

“Any such order may be made either unconditionally or on such terms and conditions as the Court thinks just.”

The National Crime Agency (NCA) in the UK arrested and quizzed Diezani and four others on October 2, 2015 for alleged bribery and corruption and money laundering.

The  EFCC is understood to have also quizzed three to five more suspects since the interrogation of Diezani by the NCA.

NCA last year obtained permission from a Westminster Magistrate’s Court to seize 27,000 pounds from Diezani and two other women.

Residents of Olakula area of Idiroko in Ipokia Local Government Area of Ogun State witnessed a jaw-dropping spectacle on _Wednesday as maggots dropped continuously from the private parts of a woman identified as Iya Toheeb.

The scene turned chaotic as residents trooped out to see the woman sat in a car with the assistance of family members and sympathisers.
It was thought that she might have been a victim of money-making ritual after her condition allegedly defied orthodox medication.

Our correspondent learnt that the woman was also brought to one of the men she was associated with, a carpenter in the community. Of the reason for bringing the afflicted woman to the man, a source at the scene who asked not to be named, said: “The woman was brought to the carpenter who was her former husband. Her family members believed that the man may be responsible for her worsening condition that defied treatment in hospital where she was admitted for months.

“Doctors were said to have advised her relatives to seek alternative medicine to her ill-health because it had gone beyond the purview of orthodox medicine.’’

Another source, who did not want her name in print, said: “The woman had dated different men in the past and it is believed that she may have been used for money-making ritual going by what we heard from those who know her.

“She has no wound in her private part yet maggots keep dropping from her sexual organ and that sends a signal that there is more to her problem than meets the eye, particularly since doctors have asked her relatives to seek help from native doctors for solution to her problem.”

It was learnt that the carpenter, whose real name could not be ascertained at press time, made remarks that suggested the woman was being punished for her promiscuity, after which the woman’s family members decided to bring her to him for possible solution her predicament. The carpenter reportedly fled before the arrival of our correspondent.

At the scene, sympathisers helped spread a sack on the car seat on which the woman sat when the maggots continued to drop even as a stench emanating from her body fouled the air. “This is what my beauty has done to me o,” said the woman shortly before being taken away by her family members.

Jose Mourinho says he needs more time to get the best out of his Manchester United side as they gear up for a demanding October fixture list.

The Red Devils face Stoke City at Old Trafford on Sunday before returning from the international break to take on Liverpool, Fenerbahce, Chelsea and Manchester City in the space of nine days later in the month.

And, just 10 games into his United regime, Mourinho claims he cannot be expected to know everything about his players until he has seen far more of them.

“I need time. I need the players to play, I need to see them in different circumstances, I need to understand more about them,” he told a pre-match press conference.

“There are so many, and so much to learn about the players that only when you have worked with them a long, long time will you know them well. There is always a surprise behind the door when you have worked with the team for three or four or five months.”

Mourinho added that Thursday’s narrow victory over Zorya Luhansk in the Europa League at Old Trafford at least gave him another chance to learn even if the competition is something of a hindrance.

“Every game I know more about my players, especially the ones that are on the pitch. Obviously I would like to have other players playing more so I can see more and I can learn more about them.
“But we need the squad, that’s for sure. The Europa League is the competition which most disturbs the domestic competitions because we play Thursdays and it’s really difficult.”

However, the Portuguese refused to pick out October as an exceptionally tough month despite their forthcoming fixtures, pointing to the league setbacks against Manchester City and Watford in September as examples that the Premier League season is never straight forward.

“Every game is massive. Watford was massive and we lost three points, a lot different from the loss against Man City. So every game for me is important, you are right we have some big opponents in October but that’s also refreshing.”

United head into Sunday’s 12:00 kick-off on the back of three successive wins in all competitions, while Stoke are still on the lookout for their first league victory of 2016-17.

Two weeks ago, Comedian koffi wrote an open letter in which was majorly directed at Kiss Daniel, then he diverted to others, but the letter was actually focused on Kiss Daniel.

A lot of his fans and people in the industry reacted to the letter, but Koffi has now explained exclusively to Saturday Beats why he wrote it and says to hell with anyone who does not feel comfortable with it, lol.

His words;

“In every vocation, there is a society that protects them. Vulcanizers, conductors, have associations that protect them. Entertainment associations do not protect entertainers. That is how businessmen entered Nollywood, started doling out money and they crumbled that sector. The same thing is happening to the music industry and that is why I shouted. These people bring their money into the business, find young boys to sign to their record labels, then they begin to dictate their career path.

Tomorrow if Kiss Daniel does not make it, they would drop him and pick another person. By that time, he would have lost his fan base and interaction with people. Timaya knows how hard he fought to get his career back. J Martins is fighting to get his career back. Continue…

I know all these things and how they are struggling. When I talk, it is not because of beef but because I need to protect my industry. Kiss Daniel, Ycee, Adekunle Gold, are some of the intelligent people in the industry and we need to push them so that they don’t push them out and bring back the riff-raff. How would an artiste release an album and you did not allow him to go for a radio tour.

You don’t allow him to mingle with people and when he is called for interviews, you say you don’t need it. When his career is going down, he would begin to beg. Soul E took his CDs to a radio station and the moment he stepped out, they threw it into the dust bin as big as Soul E was,” he said.

He described as laughable insinuations that his letter was to make him relevant in the industry. Koffi unapologetically added that if his letter did not sit well with anybody then, that is their business.
He said, “It is not an open letter but my comic truth. I write it and post it on my page every Wednesday. If it touches anybody, that is for their pocket. I am a writer who will write the right things and I don’t care what anybody says about it. If they do not see the truth in what I write, then they can as well go and start writing their own column about me.

I would write what I see as I see it as a public commentator. It is called comic truth and if they could not see the humour and truth in what I wrote, then to hell with them. I am not their mate, so I can’t take issues with them.
“Am I not relevant? Who am I seeking relevance from? We need to school this unlearned generation and we have a lot of people in the digital space who are quite ignorant. My career has never been scandal based. Is it when I have scandal that I become relevant? It is a very pathetic situation that we have got ourselves into. Creativity is no longer celebrated. I don’t need relevance online and my clients don’t need me to be relevant on social media. I am not trying to be a brand ambassador so that when it ends, people would think my career is dead. I am a comedian and we are social commentators. This means that I would say things the way I see them.

When I wrote about Buhari, why did he not come after me? When I wrote about Mark Zuckerberg they did not read it. It was when I wrote about Kiss Daniel that everybody became interested. It is the media that is making a scandal about it. I don’t like scandals but I don’t care. During the week I still spoke to Kiss Daniel’s management about a job in Abia next week. I don’t have any problem with anybody.”

He warned that if people keep insulting him over his write-up then, he might be forced to open a can of worms on entertainers.

“I am a very gentle business man. I have chosen not to speak but if anybody keeps throwing jabs at me about what I wrote and I begin to throw tantrums, everybody would hate me. At the end of the day, I would win because if I start, it would kill people’s career. My career can never die. If comedy does not pay, I am trained as an actor and if acting too does not go my way,

I have 13 music albums or I would go to Ilorin and begin to sing fuji music. Everyone is talking about the letter but no one is talking about my recent projects. For the past seven months, I have been running a monthly show at the Freedom Park but nobody writes about that. My television programme, Awada express and funny moments, are running on television stations across the country,” the comedian said.

The Turkish government has arrested over 50 Nigerian students upon their arrival at the capital city of Istanbul, it has been reported.

The detained Nigerians were all escorted to a room and their passport confiscated by Turkish police, according to Thisday.

The detainees are mainly students of Fathi University, a private university in metropolitan Buyukcekmece district of Istanbul.

Turkish police claimed the students belong to a terrorist organisation and were offered to be transferred to government schools on the condition to pay the same fees as private universities, Thisday further reported.

Fathi University happens to be among the 2099 schools, dormitories and universities shut down by the Turkish government in the wake of the July 15th failed coup in Turkey.

The schools and universities were accused by the Turkish government to be terrorist schools because they have links with Islamic scholar Fethullah Gulen, whom the Turkish government had accused of being the mastermind of the coup in Turkey.

17 Turkish schools in Nigeria had earlier been requested by the Turkish Ambassador in Nigeria, Mr. Hakan Cakil, to be closed down by Nigerian authorities for alleged links to the Hizmet movement.

Don Jazzy has wrote Independence message to Nigerians. Read below.

“Dear Nigerians,

Let me say happy Independence Day to us all. May God give us the grace to witness many more of it in good health and sound mind.

My Compatriots, though our country already at 56, is surely not where we all love it to be yet, but I have a strong hope that we are already on the path to greatness. And that is the kind of spirit I want to urge you all to carry on. There would surely be light at the end of the tunnel for us, let us not lose hope. Notwithstanding, the trying time the country is currently going through, we shall overcome.

If truth must be told, to get to the Promised Land, we all have our different roles to play in the project Nigeria. Most especially the youths, because we are the leaders of tomorrow. While that might sound like a cliche, yet I foresee a Nigeria where the youths would be taking over the mantle of leadership in the nearest future. So let us all begin to shun vices of any kind and embrace all that is virtuous. Because that is the surest way we can prepare for the task ahead.

As an entertainer who has mixed and worked with fellow artistes from virtually every region in the country, I make bold to say that our unity lies strongly in our diversity. And the more we see ourselves as brothers and sisters, the better for us all. And just like in Supreme Mavin Dynasty where we operate with the philosophy that everyone is borne with a unique talent, if you play your part in the nation building in the area where you are unique and I play mine too, you can imagine the result we would get at the end of the day.

Moreover, for project Nigeria to work the way we want, multiple projects need to take place simultaneously in ICT, Health Care, Education, Tourism, Media, Entertainment, and so on in order to open up the goldmines within. I want use this opportunity to call on the Government, NGOs and Corporate Bodies to come together in ensuring that we take this our beloved country to greater heights. We only need to work at it and things would start falling into place in due course. I am very hopeful of that.

Finally, as we celebrate our 56th Independence anniversary, I pray that by this time next year, Nigeria would have some milestones to celebrate.

Yours Sincerely,
Don Jazzy.”

Rob Kardashian has apologized to his sister, Kylie Jenner for tweeting her phone number to the world when he got angry and accused his family of failing to invite Blac Chyna to a baby shower they were planning for him. He realized that the family had a separate baby shower for Chyna after he struck out at his family without talking to them first.
He said:

"It was miscommunication on my end," Rob Kardashian said Friday on On Air With Ryan Seacrest.
"I thought they weren't having Chyna at our baby shower. Chyna's baby shower is actually this Sunday, but they were trying to do a little surprise 'guy' baby shower for me and I was just upset trying to fight for Chyna like, 'Yo, she has to be at the baby shower. She's birthing my child. She needs to be there.' It was literally miscommunication and I probably shouldn't have went on Twitter, but I did."
He added:
"I kind of took all my anger out on Kylie and my family. It wasn't just Kylie, it was my whole family. I went in on them on group text. And I was just being petty and posted Kylie's number.
I was like, 'Yo, it's not that serious. We change our numbers all the time."
"We all love each other and we're all family and I never want to beef or argue with anybody," he said.
He said what his family does is never just for the cameras. These are "all real issues that are actually happening. It's so many siblings that it's hard to communicate with everybody, honestly."

Then he apologized his sister on air saying:
"I'm sorry, Kylie, if you're listening". "I love you, Kylie."

A 21 year old student who goes by the alias of Lady Kitten, who said she has been working with a website that allows users to discreetly buy and sell used underwear, for about six months said she uses the platform as a chance to make a little extra money on the side.
She said she first got into the business after searching around online for how to make extra money. She said:
"I saw that some girls were making good money from this, so I thought I'd try it out".
And she did. The internet (and the world) is full of people who fetishize worn underwear, whether they enjoy the natural scent, or want to purchase a pair someone has masturbated in. "I try to list three or four pairs each week, although I can get a bit lazy," she explains. In her six-month stint, she had raked in about $4,000.

Over time, Lady Kitten had built up a rapport with a single seller who bought her items frequently. They chatted via email about hobbies, interests, and all the things that might make up typical online dating banter, except that they were both in it for the panties, and nothing more.

One day, this same seller approached her with a "special request." The buyer told her to wear the same pair of underwear for three weeks without changing or washing it, and she'd be paid $5,000.
She admits the idea grossed her out at first, but according to Lady Kitten, "the money was too good an opportunity to pass up."

She said she "felt really disgusting" throughout that three-week period, again, the price tag kept her going. "Luckily I live by myself and tried to stay indoors for most of the three weeks, so no one could notice," she said.

As for what she'll do with the new income, the answer was simple: "It's going straight toward school fees!"

She said she could have cheated by not wearing the same pair of underwear for the whole three weeks which would have been "the most efficient way to do it," but she had some words of warning for would-be panty crooks: "Some of these buyers know their underwear; they'll catch on."

Her buyer, however, seems satisfied with his recent purchase. While he was thrilled and she enjoys working with him, she called the ordeal a "nightmare" and won't be repeating it again "unless it's for a lot of money."

Lady Kitten said she would keep this part of her life to herself adding:
"I see nothing wrong with it, but I know my family would, and would probably look down on me. I'd also be penalized because of it when looking for a job. I think because it's different than the norm people don't like it. People never like things that are different."

Senior staff of the Federal University of Agriculture, Abeokuta, on Friday presented a loaf of bread and a bottle of coca cola drink as a birthday gift to the school’s Vice Chancellor, Olusola Oyewole.

The VC clocked 61 on Friday and has been having a running battle with the workers over allegations of financial misdeeds against ‎him and the pro-Chancellor of the university, Adeseye Ogunlewe. The staff have long been protesting, demanding the removal of the VC.

See a clearer photo off the bizarre package.
During their birthday protest, they were however intercepted by the institution’s Chief Security Officer, Peter Bolarinwa, who promised to deliver the bizarre package.

They also demanded the reinstatement of three of their colleagues, Abdulsobur Salam, Lasun Somoye, and Abimbola Bankole, who were suspended for sending a petition to the EFCC, leading to the investigation.

Margaret, the wife of the Governor of the Central Bank of Nigeria (CBN), Mr. Godwin Emiefele, has been rescued.

According to New Telegraph & ThisDay, Margaret was rescued at about 12.30 am by security operatives. Family sources said she was rescued “due to the gallantry of the Armed Forces, Police and Security Forces”, in Ugoneki near Benin City and is currently recuperating in Government House, Asaba.

She along with three other women and their driver were abducted along the Benin-Agbor Road on Thursday while on their way to the CBN Governor’s home town.

The abductors had made a demand of N1.5billion for them to release their high profile victims.

However, some security experts described the abduction of the CBN governor’s wife as an embarrassment, noting that something must have gone wrong.

A former director, Department of State Services, Mike Ejiofor, stated that as a politically exposed person, Margaret must have had security operatives attached to her.

He wondered where the personnel were at the time she was abducted, noting that until the details of the incident came to light, it might be hard to know what transpired.

The lawyer urged Nigerians to take their personal security seriously. Ejiofor said,
“I don’t know the circumstances around her abduction, but this is one of the highest profile kidnap cases in recent time.
“How can the wife of the CBN Governor, with all these security challenges be kidnapped? We need the details. Was any security operative attached to her?
“As the wife of the CBN governor, I expect she would need some protection. Until I get the details, I can’t talk much, but I believe something has gone wrong, which is very embarrassing.”

The chairman of Abuja Municipal Area Council, AMAC, Abdullahi Candido has condemned in strong terms the conversion of shops at the Nyanya market, Abuja into brothels, residential houses and schools.

Officials of the council discovered on Wednesday when it embarked on the evacuation of street traders at the market that several shops have been turned into residential houses, schools and “red light district” by women of easy virtue.

In a chat with DAILY POST, one of the resident commercial sex workers at the Nyanya market said the place was her only source of livelihood, especially now that the economic recession was biting really hard on the country.

The security men, however, arrested three ladies and two men engaging in sexual activities in the shop turned into a brothel.

US Presidential candidate Donald Trump appeared in a softcore porn video in 2000 and the video is right now trending.

Buzzfeed obtained the video from an online adult video store called Cinema Cornucopia. It features Trump welcoming the Hugh Hefner's Playmates to New York during a bus tour in 2000.
Trump can be seen popping a bottle of champagne, which splashes onto a Playboy logo as women can be heard cheering in the background.
'Beauty is beauty, and let’s see what happens with New York,' Trump says.
While Donald Trump remains fully clothed, other scenes in the tape include naked women posing in sexual positions, touching themselves, rubbing honey on their bodies and caressing each other.

Trump's porn appearance surfaced just hours after he launched additional attacks on former Miss Universe Alicia Machado, who won Miss Universe in 1996 while Trump owned the company producing the pageants.

Angelina Jolie will reportedly refuse to co-operate with police if Brad Pitt is charged with abusing their 15-year-old son Maddox.

The actress, 41 - who is divorcing Brad, 52, after two years of marriage - apparently claims he shouldn't be prosecuted for allegedly getting physical with Maddox on their private jet.

A source close to Angelia told TMZ she'll go 'radio silent' if authorities attempt to build a case against
the Fight Club star.

Her priority is to look out for her children not punish Brad, the source said.

The source also claimed that Angelina told social workers Brad struck Maddox in the face during the dispute on the family plane mid September.

But other sources say there was no intentional physical contact between the pair and that Brad only accidentally brushed Maddox's shoulders in the argument.

It was previously reported the actor will not be prosecuted according to multiple law enforcement sources involved in the case because there's 'no way to conclusively prove Brad intentionally inflicted harm on his son.'

BROADCAST  BY PRESIDENT MUHAMMADU BUHARI ON  OCTOBER 1ST 2016 TO MARK NIGERIA’S 56TH ANNIVERSARY

Today – 1st October is a day of celebration for us Nigerians. On this day, 56 years ago our people achieved the most important of all human desires – freedom and independence. We should all therefore give thanks and pray for our founding fathers without whose efforts and toil we would not reap the bounties of today.

2. I know that uppermost in your minds today is the economic crisis. The recession for many individuals and families is real. For some, it means not being able to pay school fees, for others it’s not being able to afford the high cost of food (rice and millet) or the high cost of local or international travel, and for many of our young people the recession means joblessness, sometimes after graduating from university or polytechnic.

3. I know how difficult things are, and how rough business is. All my adult life I have always earned a salary and I know what it is like when your salary simply is not enough. In every part of our nation people are making incredible sacrifices.

4. But let me say to all Nigerians today, I ran for office four times to make the point that we can rule this nation with honesty and transparency, that we can stop the stealing of Nigeria’s resources so that the resources could be used to provide jobs for our young people, security, infrastructure for commerce, education and healthcare.

5. I ran for office because I know that good government is the only way to ensure prosperity and abundance for all. I remain resolutely committed to this objective.

6. I believe that this recession will not last.

7. Temporary problems should not blind or divert us from the corrective course this government has charted for our nation. We have identified the country’s salient problems and we are working hard at lasting solutions.

8. To re-cap what I have been saying since the inception of this administration, our problems are security, corruption and the economy, especially unemployment and the alarming level of poverty.

9. On Security, we have made progress. Boko Haram was defeated by last December – only resorting to cowardly attacks on soft targets, killing innocent men, women and children.

10. Nigerians should thank our gallant men of the Armed Forces and Police for rescuing large areas of the country captured by insurgents. Now, residents in Borno, Yobe and Adamawa States, as well as several neighbouring states go about their daily business in relative safety. People can go to mosques, churches, market places in reasonable safety.

11. Commuters can travel between cities, towns and villages without fear. Credit for this remarkable turn-round should go to our Armed Forces, the Police, various sponsored and private vigilante groups, the local traditional leaders. Security is a top to bottom concern and responsibility.

12. Besides Boko Haram, we are confronting other long-running security issues, namely herdsmen vs farmers, cattle rustling, kidnappings. This Administration is firmly resolved to tackle these challenges and to defeat them.

13. A new insurgency has reared up its head in the shape of blowing up gas and oil pipelines by groups of Niger Delta Militants. This Administration will not allow these mindless groups to hold the country to ransom.

14. What sense is there to damage a gas line as a result of which many towns in the country including their own town or village is put in darkness as a result? What logic is there in blowing up an export pipeline and as a result income to your state and local governments and consequently their ability to provide services to your own people is reduced?

15. No group can unlawfully challenge the authority of the Federal Government and succeed. Our Administration is fully sympathetic to the plight of the good people of Niger Delta and we are in touch with the State Governments and leaderships of the region. It is known that the clean-up of the Ogoniland has started. Infrastructural projects financed by the Federal Government and post amnesty programme financing will continue.

16. We have however, continued to dialogue with all groups and leaders of thought in the region to bring lasting peace.

17. Corruption is a cancer which must be fought with all the weapons at our disposal. It corrodes the very fabric of government and destroys society. Fighting corruption is Key, not only to restoring the moral health of the nation, but also to freeing our enormous resources for urgent socio-economic development.

18. In fighting corruption, however, the government would adhere strictly by the rule of law. Not for the first time I am appealing to the judiciary to join the fight against corruption.

19. The Third Plank in this Administration’s drive to CHANGE Nigeria is re-structuring the economy. Economies behaviour is cyclical. All countries face ups and downs. Our own recession has been brought about by a critical shortage of foreign exchange. Oil price dropped from an average of hundred USD per barrel over the last decade to an average of forty USD per barrel this year and last.

20. Worse still, the damage perpetrated by Niger Delta thugs on pipelines sometimes reduced Nigeria’s production to below One million barrels per day against the normal two point two million barrels per day. Consequently, the naira is at its weakest, but the situation will stabilize.

21. But this is only temporary. Historically about half our dollar export earnings go to importation of petroleum and food products! Nothing was saved for the rainy days during the periods of prosperity. We are now reaping the whirlwinds of corruption, recklessness and impunity.

22. There are no easy solutions, but there are solutions nonetheless and Government is pursuing them in earnest. We are to repair our four refineries so that Nigeria can produce most of our petrol requirements locally, pending the coming on stream of new refineries. That way we will save ten billion USD yearly in importing fuel.

23. At the same time, the Federal Ministry of Agriculture and the Central Bank have been mobilized to encourage local production of rice, maize, sorghum, millet and soya beans. Our target is to achieve domestic self-sufficiency in these staples by 2018.

24. Already farmers in thirteen out of thirty six states are receiving credit support through the Central Bank of Nigeria’s Anchor Borrowers Programme. Kebbi state alone this year is expected to produce one million tonnes of locally grown rice, thanks to a favourable harvest this year. As part of the 13 states, Lagos and Ogun are also starting this programme. Rice alone for example costs Nigeria two billion USD to import.

25.The country should be self-sufficient in basic staples by 2019. Foreign exchange thus saved can go to industrial revival requirements for retooling, essential raw materials and spare parts. It is in recognition of the need to re-invigorate agriculture in our rural communities that we are introducing the LIFE programme.

26. Government recognises that irrigation is key to modern agriculture: that is why the Ministries of Agriculture and Water Resources are embarking on a huge programme of development of lakes, earth dams and water harvesting schemes throughout the country to ensure that we are no longer dependent on rain-fed agriculture for our food requirements.

27. In addition, government is introducing Water Resources Bill encompassing the National Water Resources Policy and National Irrigation and Drainage Policy to improve management of water and irrigation development in the country. We are reviving all the twelve River Basin Authorities, namely;

I. Anambra – Imo
II. Benin – Owena
III. Chad Basin
IV. Cross River
V. Hadejia – Jama’are
VI. Lower Benue
VII. Lower Niger
VIII. Niger Delta
IX. Ogun – Osun
X. Sokoto – Rima
XI. Upper Benue
XII. Upper Niger

28. The intention is eventually to fully commercialise them to better support crop production, aqua –culture and accelerated rural development.

29.This Administration is committed to the revival of Lake Chad and improvement of the hydrology and ecology of the basin. This will tune in with efforts to rehabilitate the thirty million people affected by the Boko Haram insurgency in the Lake Chad basin countries.

30. The second plank in our economic revival strategy is centred on the Ministry of Power, Works and Housing. The Ministry will lead and oversee the provision of critical infrastructure of power, road transport network and housing development.

31. Power generation has steadily risen since our Administration came on board from three thousand three hundred and twenty four megawatts in June 2015, rising to a peak of five thousand and seventy four megawatts in February 2016.

32. For the first time in our history the country was producing five thousand megawatts. However, renewed militancy and destruction of gas pipelines caused acute shortage of gas and constant drop in electricity output available on the grid.

33. There has been during the period June 2015 to September 2016 big improvement in transmission capacity from five thousand five hundred megawatts to the present seven thousand three hundred megawatts.

34.There were only two system collapses between June and December 2015, but due to vandalism by Niger Delta militants the over-all system suffered 16 system collapses between March and July 2016 alone. As I have said earlier, we are engaging with responsible leadership in the region to find lasting solutions to genuine grievances of the area but we will not allow a tiny minority of thugs to cripple the country’s economy.

35. In the meantime, government is going ahead with projects utilizing alternate technologies such as hydro, wind, and solar to contribute to our energy mix. In this respect, the Mambilla Hydro project, after many years of delay is taking off this year. Contract negotiations are nearing completion with Chinese firms for technical and financial commitments.

36. The project is to be jointly financed by Nigeria and the Chinese-Export-Import Bank. In addition, fourteen Solar Power Projects have had their power purchase agreements concluded. Hence the plan to produce one thousand two hundred megawatts of solar electricity for the country would be realized on schedule.

37. And in line with the objective of government to complete all abandoned projects across the country, the Rural Electrification Agency’s projects needing completion are provided for in the 2016 Budget. Bringing electricity to rural areas will help farmers, small scale and cottage industries to integrate with the national economy.

38.Roads Construction and Rehabilitation has taken off. The sum of twelve billion naira was allocated to this sector in the 2015 Budget, not enough even to pay interest on outstanding unpaid claims.

39. Notwithstanding the budgetary constraints, the current budget allocated two hundred and forty billion naira for highway projects against twelve billion naira in 2015. Many contractors who have not been paid for three years have now remobilized to sites. Seven hundred and twenty point five billion naira has so far been released this budget year to capital projects.

40. The Ministry of Power, Works and Housing has received one hundred and ninety seven point five billion naira. Work on the following highways has now resumed.

1. Dualization of Calabar – Itu Road in Cross River/Akwa Ibom States.
2. Dualization of Lokoja – Benin Road, Ehor – Benin city, Edo State.
3. Re-construction of outstanding sections of Benin – Shagamu Express way, Edo/Ogun States.
4. Expansion works on Lagos – Ibadan Dual carriageway, Ogun/Oyo States
5. Rehabilitation of Onitsha – Enugu Expressway, Anambra/Enugu States.
6. Rehabilitation and Reconstruction of Enugu – Port Harcourt Dual carriageway, Abia/Rivers States.
7. Rehabilitation of Hadejia – Nguru Road, Jigawa State.
8. Dualization of Kano – Katsina Road, Kano State.
9. Dualization of Kano – Maiduguri Road, Borno State.
10. Dualization of Azare – Potiskum Road, Azare – Sharuri Road, Bauchi State.

11. Rehabilitation of Ilorin – Jebba – Mokwa – Birnin Gwari Road, Kwara State.
12. Construction of Oju/Lokoja – Oweto Bridge over River Benue, Benue State.

41. Other major highways are in the queue for rehabilitation or new construction.

42. Already contractors have recalled about nine thousand workers laid off and Government expects that several hundreds of thousands of workers will be reengaged in the next few months as our public works programme gains momentum.

43. On railways, we have provided our counterpart funding to China for the building of our standard gauge Lagos -Kano railway. Meanwhile, General Electric is investing two point two billion USD in a concession to revamp, provide rolling stock, and manage the existing lines, including the Port Harcourt-Maiduguri Line. The Lagos-Calabar railway will also be on stream soon.

44. We have initiated the National Housing Programme. In 2014 four hundred million naira was voted for Housing. In 2015 nothing. Our first budget this year is devoting thirty five point six billion naira. Much of the house building will be private – sector led but Government is initiating a pilot housing scheme of two thousand eight hundred and thirty eight units uniformly spread across the 36 states and FCT.

45.We expect these units to be completed within 4 – 6 months. These experimental Nigeria House model Units will be constructed using only made in Nigeria building materials and components. This initiative is expected to reactivate the building materials manufacturing sector, generate massive employment opportunities and develop sector capacity and expertise.

46. The programmes I have outlined will revive the economy, restore the value of the naira and drive hunger from our land.

47. Abroad, Nigeria’s standing has changed beyond belief in the last 18 months. We are no longer a pariah state. Wherever I go, I have been received with un-accustomed hospitality. Investors from all over the world are falling over themselves to come and do business in Nigeria. This government intends to make business environment more friendly because we can not develop ourselves alone.

48. All countries, no matter how advanced, welcome foreign investments to their economy. This is the essence of globalization and no country in the 21st century can be an island. Our reforms are therefore designed to prepare Nigeria for the 21st century.

49. Finally, let me commend Nigerians for your patience, steadfastness and perseverance. You know that I am trying to do the right things for our country.

50. Thank you and may God bless our country.
